"be careful when getting State Farm insurance. After long talks on the phone and getting approved I went and canceled my other home insurance policy. State Farm went and paid the mortgage company and cancelled the homeowners insurance who was previously travelers. thinking all was well the came to my house without notice and took pictures but they said my roof was deteriorating and would not insure me unless I replaced the roof. no one was on my roof ( have cameras) and the roof was in great condition when travelers inspected the roof. they work backwards they should inspect then insure but the make you go through everything then put you in a spot when they don't want to really insure you and they collect money from you as well. its a money grabber they have to charge you until you cancel them and find another insurance company. Since this I did find another insurance company and guess what ???? no issues with the roof!!!"

Following that inspection, the carrier completed their underwriting review, and the final decision to cancel the policy was made from an underwriting perspective. Coverage determinations are ultimately handled by the insurance carrier and can change based on findings reviewed after the application is submitted. We value transparency and would be happy to revisit the details of your policy with you directly to clarify what occurred. Please feel free to contact our office so we can review this together."
